Member Benefits and Services

Welcome! Over 400 people from across the province enjoy the benefits and services of a CES membership. Members are linked into a well-established communications network created and managed by the CES. Conferences and seminars bring together career practitioners to share ideas, best practices and quality programs. Innovative resources and training programs are available. Issues concerning the career and learning management education field are discussed and addressed through the united voice of the CES and valuable partnerships are formed within the career community. Partnerships

The CES actively pursues partnerships that enhance relationships between schools, parents, business, industry, labour, government and community organizations.

Seminars and Conferences

Regional workshops and seminars address a variety of topics concerning career education. The CES Career Education Society presents a dynamic schedule of seminars and events in your region. Blueprint and Real Game series training is available on a cost recovery basis. Annual Fall Conference

The three-day conference is filled with fun and informative workshops. High-profile speakers from government, business and the community share views and insights on a number of career and learning management issues. The annual conference is attended by over 400 delegates.Events Calendar

Networking Opportunities

The CES provides opportunities for various sectors of the community to connect and form partnerships in the development and promotion of career education. Regional meetings are held throughout BC to provide a forum for discussion and sharing. This Web site offers a regional section that profiles activities and initiatives from across the province. Membership Communications

All CES Career Education Society members will receive (upon request) an annually updated Membership Directory - a link to over 400 other career educators around the province.

Resources

The CES develops invaluable career resources and keeps members informed about new and enhanced career education materials, programs and services.

CES NewsBreak e-letter is published bi monthly. It keeps members informed about CES events and workshops being offered around the province. Members are encouraged to contribute articles and share success stories from their regions.

Members have the ability to address and provide feedback on major issues concerning career and learning management education via the regional list server. The CES strives to be a united voice to advocate, support and promote career education programs and issues in BC.
