Supporting Students in Portfolio Development: Engaging the Staff

Supporting students in portfolio development is a shared responsibility. Engage all teachers and support staff in each of the curriculum areas in your school by giving them some concrete examples. See handouts provided. How? Get on an agenda of a staff meeting and hand these out! Post to the staff bullentin board. Place in the mailbox of department heads. Good luck!

Employabiltiy Skills for the 21st Century

In the Graduation Portfolio the Employability Skills organizer (4) focuses on the Conference Board of Canada's Employablity 2000+. The Graduation Portfolio is a perfect place for students enrolled in a Career Program to document work experience and to reflect upon its significance to skills gained in the work place. This booklet provides the space to document each student work experience and to meet both Core and Choice Aspects of the Employability Skills section of the Portfolio (Aspects 4.1 - 4.4)
