Aspect 2.5 (2nd Language Cultural Experience)
This aspect was designed to support extra-curriclar activities in modern languages. Students who have taken part in some form of cultural experience in the target lanaguage may use this aspect for credit in Portfolio Choice.This resource includes the criteria and reflection sheet.

Supporting Students in Portfolio Development: Engaging the Staff
Supporting students in portfolio development is a shared responsibility. Engage all teachers and support staff in each of the curriculum areas in your school by giving them some concrete examples. See handouts provided.
How?
Get on an agenda of a staff meeting and hand these out!
Post to the staff bullentin board.
Place in the mailbox of department heads.

Europe Trip Aspect 2.5
This is an additional aspect that fits under the Community Involvement organizer. This gives students an opportunity to use the school organized Spring Break Europe trips in their portfolio. It also gives reflection structure for the students to critically think about the value of travel, as well as what their role in the "global community".
