Supporting Students in Portfolio Development: Engaging the Staff
Supporting students in portfolio development is a shared responsibility. Engage all teachers and support staff in each of the curriculum areas in your school by giving them some concrete examples. See handouts provided.
How?
Get on an agenda of a staff meeting and hand these out!
Post to the staff bullentin board.
Place in the mailbox of department heads.

Designing A Science Experiment
This is an additional aspect for the Art & Design Portfolio Organizer. Students are to design and perform a science experiment. They are then to design a backboard that is both visually appealing, and easy to follow, that allows them to display their science write-up and data.
