Participate in a service activity
Students are put into groups and sent out to the school grounds and surrounding areas to clean up garbage. They understand the problem of garbage when they have to go out and pick it up. They realize that they can help keep the school clean by not littering or by telling their friends not to litter. They understand that this community event can help change the negative generalization made of teenagers by community members and that they can have a positive impact on the environment, and conversely that littering has a negative impact on them and the environment.

Aspects for Agenda book
Using the dividers the ministry put out, I complied a checklist of all the aspects and info to go in the Grade 10-12 agenda books. The students have the info on hand all the time, and the school has a checklist for completed aspects the teacher advisors can use to track student progress.
